Was very lazy to dress up and when that happens, I go to the tried, tested and never failing: all black. It's the easiest outfit to pick out when I am feeling so uninspired and BLAH. This is probably due to the fact that there was a tragic crisis in our country which involved tourists from HK being held hostage by an armed vigilante. It was terrifying and quite depressing. My eyes were glued to the TV set the whole day the 12 hour crisis ensued.
I chose to wear all black to subconsciously mourn the loss of human lives, I guess. Things that happen around me seriously affect my overall fashion aura. I realized that I had not worn these shoes for a very long time and I just had to take them out for a spin, since I do love them so much. I decided to match the wonderfully wooden wedged boots from Zara with a black leather skirt with a beautiful zipper detail and a cropped top layered over a basic white tank top keep the look as monotonous and basic as possible. Was too lazy to switch purses from my last post so i stuck it out with the 2.55 Chanel purse.
Wearing my hair straight today since I had no time to style it at all. Basically just brushed it down and was good to go. I miss my curls! Sigh! I hope tomorrow is better!
