What Boyfriend?

No boyfriend? No problems.

I was walking around some bazaars and saw a number of statement shirts with that caption and laughed. While I am happy for all my friends who are blissfully in relationships, personally, I don't think that would work out for me... For now. As I have said multiple times, I am currently happily single and I don't think I want to change that as of the moment. It's refreshing actually to not even be dating right now because there is just no pressure, no drama, no tiffs... And I love it that way. At some point, I think I got tired of all the effort it required and all the issues involved- the main one would be my independence and refusal to inform my significant other of everything I do. I find that prerequisite taxing, actually. Probably because I am not techie or that I forget that I have to and that I seriously forget that I even have a phone in the first place...but that's always how I've been and it's so hard to change that. Trust me when I say I've tried and failed many times.

I've been on a conservative dressing streak now. I know, I know, gone are the days of my edgy rocker chic looks. I notice I've been gearing towards pastel ice cream hued looks with maximum coverage. Think 1950's. My peg for my recent change of looks is how adorable I think Zooey Deschanel absolutely dresses up. It's just so inspiring and well, the silhouette is to die for- think poodle skirts, pleats, beautiful prints. If anything, my boyfriend absolutely adores it. he has raved many times about how much he loves the new conservative me, and I cannot agree anymore. I love the elegance and the vintage vibe of my looks, not to mention how classic and absolutely timeless this style is. It's a fresh start. Expect me to be covered up more and more the next posts. In my case, MORE (fabric) is definitely MORE.

The Big Jump

Wore this for a busy bee Saturday where I had to work for an upcoming project I am so excited about (but kind of have to keep under wraps first....) Had a great time shooting at he rooftop and helipad (hello, hello, Vertigo) with Myrrh and Aisa and the rest of the team as they were a blast. I cannot wait! Anyway, I had to wear this outfit as I needed to be comfortable and capable to move around but also, I didn't want to sacrifice style or glamour, so I went oversized denim button down shirt and caramel toned trousers/leggings and piled on gold, silver bling to glam it up!
