'Cause I remember every sunset...

“Never waste any amount of time doing anything important when there is a sunset outside that you should be sitting under!”

- C. Joybell C.

I know that it is often something taken for granted especially by urban dwellers like me but the sun setting and the sun rising are two of the most wonderful sights to behold. I used to always love the sun rise since it signified a new day and I am all about new beginnings but now, I am also able to appreciate the sun as it sets and see it as a time to give thanks for the wonderful day that has gone by. As I get to experience full days and early nights, I find that my days are marked by when the sun comes up and when it comes down...each day culminating with a promise and ending with relief and satisfaction for being able to have survived the day. I know what other people would say: "that the sun rises and sets every single day and its absolutely free..." but just because it is something you know will happen for sure doesn't make it any less beautiful, important or worth watching. I rarely get to see the sun set in the open air because I usually leave the office far too late and a long time has probably elapsed by the time I get out and this is probably the reason why on days like these, when I can afford the opportunity to actually see it as it unfolds, I don't take it for granted. I watch in awe and wonder and it is very therapeutic. I've needed a lot of therapeutic things lately and there is nothing better to provide that than what is natural occurring in the world as we know it. It's nice to remember to be present in the now and also to me reminded that there are some things that don't require a hefty price tag that can take your breath away.

Grand Theft Autumn

Darkness falls, here comes the rain to wash away the past and the names.
(Satin Corset Bustier: Glitterati | Shorts: from HK | Shoes: DAS | Purse: Givenchy Nightingale | Accessories: Cultus ChiChi)

My "last Friday night" outfit which was worn rather to the maximum as I wore it to both of my excursions which I call B1 + B2 (I love how I refer to my nights out like Vitamins). I've been quite sick of staying in at home the past week since I was very sick with the flu so when I finally got the chance to go out, I decided to deliver and make the most out of it (until 4 am which was in my own term...sagad lang)...and in probably as minimal clothing possible. I wanted to be edgy and at the same time comfortable and not too over the top (as I had no plans of clubbing at all) and was going to the 2 B's aka. my home bases- BOROUGH in podium (to meetup with friends) and BARCINO (for a great nightcap) in Rockwell which is always a comfort place for me since I am there almost 3x a week! My never fail closet item right now are my corsets as I find them virtually easy to match with every article of clothing I own. For this night, I decided to keep it as fresh and simple with understated glam since I knew it was going to be an al fresco night and I didn't really be want to be all fidgety with my clothes. In the end, it ended up to be wonderful evening... dramatic and definitely interesting. I shall say no more...*insert sly smile here*

Blooming Brilliance

Dressing Down.

(Top: Random, Shorts: Glitterati, Necklace: +RUCKUS, Bag: Zara, Shoes: Online)

Feeling a bit more casual than usual, I decided to glam it down a bit and wore a simple tanktop and printed shorts from my brand, Glitterati…we’re selling it for P900 each only and seriously, the print + details are so awesome, so get one. ;) It’s been so HOT the past few days (considering I wore this the whole day for Day 3 of the SSB Bazaar) I needed something I could totally move around in- and something to keep me totally cooled down amidst the heat. I paired it with one of my fave tanktops and a gorgeous necklace I got from +RUCKUS which is just so pretty (and one of a kind)…it has my favorite “Swallow” design a la Miu Miu and it comes in pink and purple…tart, my favorite colors.

Hope it worked! Very casual, very simple, and so easy to wear!

BONUS: More unposted shots of my Day 2 Outfit which was the cropped green bustier + ruffled tutu, I just found these earlier and had to share!!!
