Cause hopelessly, the hope is we have so much to feel good about

Day turns to night, night turns to whatever we want.
Top: Knit Cobweb-ish Sweater from Topshop
Tank Dress: Topshop
Knee high socks: Zara
Shoes: Miu-Miu inspired polka dotted Maryjanes from Forever21
Bag: Vintage Nina Ricci
Accessories: Assorted

I finally have au naturel hair...well aside from the really golden reddish brown color, I am proud to say I am hair extensions free after almost 2 years. It feels great to not have an extra 5 lbs. of hair attached (not that i was complaining then) but I guess it's time my hair takes a breather... it is medium length now anyway...thoughts?

Surprisingly, my BFF Nina just posted a blog entry of her wearing this same sweater but in pink (I bought that same pink version too, btw)... we did not plan it and we're not even aware we own/ bought the same top... I guess that's why we are style sisters/ BFFs - our minds are almost in sync... style and outfit wise. I decided to wear it over a tank dress which was mid-length (note: not too short to be too revealing and not too long to cover my knees). For the same reasons as my bestfriend, I used knee high socks/ stockings to coverup my badly bruised and (surprise surprise!) now wounded legs. How these bruises show up musteriously- I still cannot understand. The wound, I am quite sure of. Hope it worked, new hair and all!

xx

Cover it up (or something)

Dark and Twisty.
Knit top: Mango
Skirt: Glitterati
Necklace: Ruckus
Boots: Online (forgot where)
Purse: Cole Haan

I decided to wear a maxi skirt on a very gloomy Sunday to cover up the many bruises I now have incurred as a result of multiple falls and bumps from the last day. I think my balance is off, seriously. I got quite sick of apologizing and explaining the bruises and the bandaids so I went the smart girl route and covered them up, with a draped long maxi skirt (in brown this time) from my brand, Glitterati.

Very moody and pessimistic the day I wore this and I am guessing it kinda shows in the color palette I chose. Dark and twisty colors for a dark and twisty girl. I reckon I felt very Mary Kate Olsen meets a bag lady as I wore this outfit as it is a lot less binding than my usual short body con dresses.... a Fendi bag lady, but a bag lady nonetheless. The upside is I got to wear my new bag from my dad which is a woven leather Cole Haan purse which to this day confuses me re: its color. I've been holding a poll with our maids and drivers and so far its a 50-50 on it being gray or army green. Layered on my necklaces (I have worn this chain necklace so many times already cause my cousin made it and i love her!) hand combed my hair (no time or willpower to blowdry, curl or even brush it) and was good to go.

Please just end already, 2010!!!!!

Free Your Mind in Your Androgyny

Factory Girl.
The joy of dressing down is sublime! Christmas rush shopping (3 hours non stop was fun!)
The outfit is inspired somehow by Edie Sedgwick (I love her!) cause I just watched her much criticized Sienna Miller portrayed biopic for the nth time and again I was quite fascinated by her. I guess there's something about poor little rich girls I can totally relate to.

And so I decided to basically just throw in an oversized knit sweater (from my brother's closet) over knit stockings and that was it! It was s comfortable, I am literally wondering why boy's clothes are so much easier to wear. Maybe cause most of my clothes are so binding? Looks like I'll be wearing more of my bro's stuff for the season! Haha!
