Across The Universe

Chiffon Sleeveless Top: Escada Sport | Shorts: Mango | Necklace: Ever New | Shades: Aldo | Bag: YSL | Shoes: from the U.S. | Bangles: Apartment 8

White out. I wanted a crisp, clean and classic look for a day of errands and I gathered this was the outfit to fulfill such. It was indeed a lovely and fresh break from all the blacks and pop of colors  have been sporting as of late. So far, whoever said wearing white on errands day was going to such a hassle as you will probably dirty it as soon as possible was wrong, I got through the entire day AND night- seamlessly and dirt free. I am so loving the angelic and pristine all white look.

Everyone pays so much attention to how women dress; Examples of such are:

1. "We should wear three-piece suits, look just like men and dress for success,"
2. "Women who get raped were asking for it by the way they dressed."
3. "Men like women who dress in a feminine fashion. It makes men feel masculine'

Is it any wonder that we sometimes feel confused about what seems right for us to wear?

What if the way we dress is simply a reflection of our hearts? What if our main criterion for  beauty is what feel good on our bodies and reflects who we are? What if we wear colors because we like them and not because they are "our colors" or make us look thin. This opens up all kinds of possibilities...doesn't it?
