Where does the good go?

Where do you go with your broken heart in tow
What do you do with the left over you
And how do you know when to let go
Where does the good go
Where does the good go

Look me in the eye and tell me you don't find me attractive
Look me in the heart and tell me you won't go
Look me in the eye and promise no love's like our love
Look me in the heart and unbreak the broken, it won't happen

Just a quick post wearing my all time favorite colors of pink, white and black which went absolutely perfectly with my 37LA x Only The Marvelous book clutch which shows one of the adages I live by--- "KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON". I know there have been several modifications to this statement as the modern times call for, but I prefer the original version--- which to give you a brief history lesson was was a propaganda poster produced by the British government in 1939 during the beginning of the Second World War, intended to raise the morale of the British public in the aftermath of widely predicted mass air attacks on major cities. I know that doesn't really apply to me but upon its resurrection back in 2000, I find that it has so much impact in all aspects of life- mine included.

This of course goes hand in hand with my ever prevailing philosophy of "MOVE ALONG, MOVE ALONG" or in more simpler terms--- "JUST KEEP MOVING ON..." At the end of the day, it's all about going forward, not looking back and not regretting anything. The past has a funny way of creeping up on us, and if we're not smart, we will get dragged down by it, hindering our efforts to move on. But all we have to do is try...

As the saying goes, "It's one of those things that people say, you can't move on until you let go of the past. Letting go is the easy part, it's the moving on that's painful. So sometimes we fight it, try and keep things the same. Things can't stay the same though. At some point, you just have to let go. Move on. Because no matter how painful it is, it's the only way we grow."

This has been a recurring theme in my blog recently, something I feel the need to discuss. But seeing to it that a lot of people I encounter are having this kind of inner trouble, I can't help but share what I learned.
