Someone said today,
There's no other way
Of playing....
But I'll find a way,
I'll find another way
Of saying....
All the time we have for life,
Thinking 'bout the lives we had
Together....
Whatever gets you through today
There's no other way
Of playing....
But I'll find a way,
I'll find another way
Of saying....
All the time we have for life,
Thinking 'bout the lives we had
Together....
Whatever gets you through today
Coat: Ryu | Hat: Zara | Pants: Zara | Bag: Hermes Birkin | Sunglasses: Prada Baroque Sunnies | Shoes: High Style Fancy
Gone incognito. It was a rainy day when I wore this outfit and I decided to cover up ...a lot... by wearing this amazing deconstructed top from a U.S. Brand called Ryu, which my sister gave me ages ago, and in true "JL-style," forgot all about until this time I wore it.
I paired it with my Jacquard Zara Pants with gorgeous gold buttons at the seam and decided to go all out black with my sunnies and hat as well, save for the accent pieces of this look being my Camel Birkin and these gorgeous literally Killer Heels that had real pointy spikes. I loved this look absolutely because its so not me and well, sometimes, its fun to learn to dress differently. Whatever gets you through the day...right?
Speaking of learning, let me say, I learned so much this past 8 months or so and for now all I can say is I am a process. We all are. The key to living that process is learning. Mistakes are not proof that we are bad; they are doors for learning and moving on. Remembering is important. If we have no memory, we can't learn from our past. If we refuse to accept our past, we have no present and we can't have a future. Going through the trials I went through, I realized that everything in our lives is an opportunity for learning. Often, the most painful experiences I had, opened doors that must be opened before I was able to take my next steps. That doesn't mean that we don't sometimes have to walk over what seems like beds of hot coals to reach the door. Trust me, I would know. Yet once I was able to reach the other side, the learning is there and it continues to be there everyday. All you have to do is be open to it....
