I don't have a corporate job and have decided to go through an entrepreneurial route/ career being a fashion brand owner. I dictate my own work hours and schedule, which is why I am free to make time for blogging, shopping etc. It's a good thing since I don't answer up to anyone except my clients but the major downside (the only one I can think of) is never getting to dress business chic. So I decided that while I may not play the part, I will still dress the part which explains the very business chic look (I know, very different from what I usually wear, right?) I wanted to be more serious and classic and I just bought the perfect caramel trousers from Mango which was just perfect for the look I wanted. Another reason I am wearing trousers is that my legs are all bruised for some unknown reason! The blazer is from Zara (Spring Summer 2010) and I practically forgot all about it! Wardrobe intervention and cleanup made me remember to wear it! Sigh.
It was SALE season left and right over the weekend and I am quite proud of myself for not shopping at all despite the strong temptation to binge shop. I guess I practice more self control than I am usually given credit for! Haha.
