War of The Roses

Floral Frenzy
Jeans: CopyKat Ph | Top: Zara | Shoes: S&H | Bags: Celine | Accessories: Charriol

Sundays are always "chill" days and nothing spells relaxed and casual more than a pair of comfortable skinny jeans and a knit sweater. Add the plus that the jeans have a beautiful rose/floral print and I had what was the perfect Sunday outfit for yet another installment of Sundays at Rockwell which have been quite the tradition already. I added a bow to make the outfit more girly and to contrast the casual vibe of the frumpy long sleeved sweater and finished off the look with red accents.

It was quite the perfect Sunday, and I loved wearing jeans (yes, I rarely wear jeans so when I do its like an occassion). We watched TED which was a crazy hilarious movie which made me cry and die of laughter. It was quite fun to inject a bit of print in my outfit with the unexpected jeans, very reminiscent of Moschino S/S 2012.

How To Wear Floral Denim:
This season, denim goes beyond just basic or distressed as it takes on the runway trend for feminine floral prints. The upcoming summer festivals are the perfect excuse to get out your floral denim shorts and make like Kate Moss. Vogue.in tells you how to wear flower printed denim during the day and night.

Day: Think large rosettes printed on white jeans paired with solid coloured tops to help you get in the mood for this summery trend, Vogue.in recommends Zara’s rose printed jeans paired with flats for a relaxed look. Alternatively, if you are heading for somewhere slightly dressier, we love Stella McCartney’s Hawaiin print chambray dress paired with tan wedge sandals.

Night: Don’t be afraid to take this trend on to the night by opting for mono-colours. Vogue.in loves the cropped mid-rise jeans by Gucci, pair it with a sheer black shirt for a dinner date. Alternatively, if you plans involve heading to the clubs, pair a shimmer top and high heels with the cropped printed low rise skinny jeans by Alice + Olivia.
